On Friday, January 2 2026, the land of Eziudo Ezinifite Mbaise breathed in gratitude as family clergy and friends gathered to celebrate eighty-six years in the life of Lady Lolo Regina Nnenna Nwachukwu LSM. It was a day shaped by prayer, softened by thanksgiving, and crowned with joy for a woman whose journey has been marked by faith, sacrifice, and grace.
The celebration commenced with a solemn Eucharistic Mass at Saint Thomas Catholic Church, Eziudo in Imo State, Nigeria. The Mass was presided over by Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu, Secretary of the Dicastery for Evangelization, Vatican City, and concelebrated by several priests, with Very Rev Fr Oliver Onwubiko serving as Parish Priest.

In his homily, Rev Fr Innocent Nwachukwu, son of the celebrant, spoke gently of gratitude as the heartbeat of life, prayer as a quiet anchor, and family as the first school of love. He reminded the faithful that a thankful heart deepens with age and that a life rooted in God grows richer with time.
Across cultures and within the Christian faith, a woman of grace is known not by loud words but by the beauty of her character. Sacred Scripture speaks of such a woman in the Book of Proverbs, a woman whose value is far beyond pearls who brings good all the days of her life, reaches out to the poor, opens her mouth in wisdom, and walks clothed in strength and dignity.

Lady Lolo Regina Nnenna Nwachukwu is the living reflection of this sacred portrait.
With spiritual vision and unwavering family values, she built a firm foundation for her children, nurturing their spiritual, moral, educational, and economic growth. Her beauty has always rested deeper than the surface, found in patience, discipline, compassion, and faith. Through her life, she has inspired, encouraged, and strengthened those around her, calling them toward goodness and purpose.
She has been a guide, a supporter, a counselor, and a confidante. Her wisdom has shaped generations, and her quiet strength continues to speak in the lives she has touched.
On behalf of the family, Prof. Chike Patrick Chike expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Archbishop, the priests, and all who gathered to honor their mother with prayer and presence. He spoke of the privilege of celebrating not only her years but the values and faith she has poured into their lives.
In his response, Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu shared his joy at returning to Mbaise and at celebrating the birthday of the mother of Rev Fr Innocent Nwachukwu, whom he described as a worthy son and dear friend. He offered prayers for continued strength, peace, and good health and bestowed blessings upon the celebrant and her family.
In attendance were family members, bishops, priests, well-wishers, and friends of the family home and abroad. Also present was the Obowo Family Union Houston Chapter, led by its President, Mr. Christian Oparah, a sign of the wide circle of love and relationships nurtured by Lady Regina Nnenna Nwachukwu over the years.
The voices of lectors, the harmony of the choir parish groups, and the dignified presence of the Knights of St Mulumba enriched the liturgy. Each moment from the proclamation of the Gospel to the final blessing echoed reverence and joy.
After the Mass, the celebration continued at the family compound, where music, laughter, and shared memories filled the air. It was a gathering of hearts and stories, a joyful thanksgiving for a life well lived and generously shared as Chief Imo, the MC of the day, wowed the crowd with his wit, humor, and lively delivery.

At eighty-six, Lady Lolo Regina Nnenna Nwachukwu LSM stands as a sign of faith, motherhood, dignity, and grace. Her life affirms the words of Scripture that the woman who fears the Lord is worthy of praise. Her works continue to speak gently and powerfully through generations.
