WITH NO INDEPENDENT JUDICIARY, THERE CAN BE NO DEMOCRACY

In the realm of governance, where the heart’s fire sparks,

Lies a union of spirits, a dance of light and dark.

Democracy’s enchantment, a tale of the free,

Where the common man’s voice whispers like the breeze.

Yet, within this grand symphony, an essential chord,

An independent judiciary; the common man’s sword.

A sanctuary of justice, where dreams find their flight,

In its hallowed halls, truth reveals its might.

Woven with reason, a truth profound,

For democracy’s essence, the common man is crowned.

“Of the people, by the people, and for the people,” it sings,

Their hopes; their dreams; flying on democracy’s wings.

But pause, dear soul, and ponder with me!

If the judiciary bends, if justice cannot be free,

Can democracy bloom in its fullest grace?

Or will it wither and be lost in shadows’ embrace?

The common man’s hope, like a wildflower’s bloom,

Nurtured by justice, shall conquer all gloom.

The scales must remain balanced, impartial, and pure,

For democracy’s heartbeat, it must endure.

Imagine a river, its waters run clear,

The same must befall justice, nothing to fear.

But when power and will bind, a threat it becomes to us all,

The river is poisoned, and the strong start to fall.

Lo, Justice calls from the depths of her soul,

Let not the spirit of democracy be swallowed whole.

For when the common man’s voice is silenced and bound,

Democracy’s symphony has no harmonious sound.

Oh, adjudicator! Oh administrator! Let your conscience be your guide,

Hold dear the pillars of justice, let them not slide.

The judiciary, a lighthouse in the night,

Guiding the ship of democracy through storms as it sails aright.

The common man seeks a fair and just hand,

A haven in the storm, on which they can stand.

With no independent judiciary, we weep,

For in the void of justice, democracy’s heart may sleep.

Let no dark clouds shroud justice’s light,

With wisdom and courage, it must take flight.

For the common man’s hope is bound to its wings,

In unity, justice and democracy sings.

Look to the past, let history unfold,

When justice was trampled, how democracy’s story was told.

Yet, like the phoenix, rising from its own ash,

Democracy thrives, beyond power’s cruel clash.

But, dear soul, remember, its roots must remain,

An independent judiciary, its trust must sustain.

In the labyrinth of power, let justice be the guide,

With no strings attached, it shall truly preside.

Rumi whispers softly, “Oh, seeker of light,

In the dance of democracy, let justice shine bright.

The common man’s hope lies within its embrace,

For where justice thrives, true democracy takes place.”

In the garden of governance, let wisdom grow,

The common man’s dream, democracy will sow.

With no independent judiciary, we falter and sway,

But with justice as guardian, democracy finds its way.

So let us unite, hand in hand, side by side,

With justice as our compass, we shall abide.

For when the common man’s hope is strong and free,

 Democracy’s heart shall beat eternally.
