Equatorial Guinea Leaked Videos Go Viral

The Director General, of the National Financial Investigation Agency in Equatorial Guinea, Baltasar Engonga, has been arrested for allegedly recording over 400 sex tapes of the wives of notable people in the country.

The scandal erupted after investigators discovered over 400 videos stored on Engonga’s computer, depicting him in romantic encounters with multiple partners, including his brother’s wife, a cousin, and even a close relative of the President. The recordings reportedly took place in various locations, such as his office, hotels, and restrooms. According to reports, all interactions in the videos were consensual.

The leaked footage has sparked widespread debate on social media, with some posts sharing reactions and others questioning the ethical implications of Engonga’s behavior in his role as a public official.

Attorney General Launches Health and Privacy Investigation

Equatorial Guinea’s Attorney General’s Office, led by Anatolio Nzang Nguema, has initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the leak. Authorities are also investigating whether Engonga may have posed potential health risks through his actions. “If proven, he could face charges for endangering public health,” a spokesperson confirmed.

Engonga, a married man with six children, has held a significant role at ANIF, where he has overseen financial investigations and led anti-corruption measures. His position and reputation, however, are now at risk as public scrutiny intensifies over his actions.

The leaked tapes have cast a spotlight on the personal lives of public officials, challenging the boundaries between private conduct and public responsibility in Equatorial Guinea’s government.
